Milwaukee Bucks Fall To Chicago Bulls in Game 2 of NBA Playoffs

The Milwaukee Bucks put a dreadful performance on the court in a 114-110 loss to the Chicago Bulls in Game 2 of the First Round in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. The series is now evened up at 1-1.

Milwaukee quite frankly is lucky that the series is 1-1 right now. Charles Barkley thinks the Bucks are not taking the Chicago Bulls seriously. I don’t disagree, but there’s no excuse for this level of play from a defending champion (not that Chuck called it an excuse).

Milwaukee backed up a 21-turnover Game 1 with a 15-turnover Game 2, which Chicago scored 19 points off those turnovers tonight.

Bobby Portis only played six minutes tonight after getting a Tristan Thompson elbow to the face, and didn’t even get a review from the refs which is absurd. Khris Middleton left the game in the second half with a MCL sprain in his left knee.

There will be further evaluation of Middleton’s injury with an MRI tomorrow.

My only question is when did Khris really get hurt because he looked like he was laboring all night. Yes I know the knee injury happened with about seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, but Middleton was brutal tonight.

Only one day off between Game 2 and 3 and then Game 3 and 4. I think that might help Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 33 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists.

With Giannis having 33/18/9, that should have been enough. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday provided little-to-no help for him.

Jrue Holiday had an uncharacteristically bad day. Even when his shot hasn’t been falling, he’s had a huge impact on the game in other areas (defense, setting teammates up, etc.), but tonight he was 6-of-16 from the field and had six turnovers.

I guess the silver lining of dripping this game is that Milwaukee, Fiserv Forum, and Deer District will get that Game 5 money.

Frustrating night and it was tough to watch this performance.

I think Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb being in attendance are to blame for this loss. The Milwaukee Bucks need to get that playoff loser energy out of Fiserv Forum.

Up Next:

Game 3 will be on Friday, April 22nd from the United Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM (Central Time) and will be televised on Bally Sports Wisconsin as well as nationally televised on ABC.
