We’re roughly 24 hours into the offseason and we already have some roster news regarding the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team.
In a very surprising move, Matthew Mors, a 6-foot-7 forward from Yankton, South Dakota, has entered the transfer portal.
Mors was a three-star prospect in the 2021 class. After grabbing two rebounds and missing his lone shot in the exhibition game against UW-Whitewater, Mors made the decision to redshirt this season.
Mors was one of four players in UW’s 2021 recruiting class. Chucky Hepburn, who started in all of UW’s 33 games, Markus Ilver who played in just 29 minutes over eight games, and Chris Hodges who redshirted, were the other three in the class.
