Suspensions After The Michigan/Wisconsin Hoops Game

The suspension announcements have been announced regarding what took place in yesterday’s handshake line at the conclusion of the Wisconsin Badgers win over the Michigan Wolverines.

As far as the Wisconsin Badgers are concerned, head coach Greg Gard was fined $10,000 with no suspension, but Jahcobi Neath was suspended one game (Wednesday at Minnesota).

Michigan head coach Juwan Howard was suspended for the remainder of the regular season, which comes up to five games.

Michigan players Terrence Williams II and Moussa Diabete were each suspended one game respectively (vs. Rutgers).

For perspectives sake, Illinois big man Kofi Cockburn was suspended for three games for selling gear and then donating the profits to charity.

Howard, in my opinion, should have been suspended for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
