UW-Milwaukee Panthers Get Win Over IUPUI Jaguars

The UW-Milwaukee Panthers (6-12, 4-5 Horizon) take down the IUPUI Jaguars (1-14, 0-6 Horizon), 89-54, inside UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

It’s a nice win for UWM, but it’s also a game they should have dominated.

DeAndre Gholston scored a game-high 21 points to go along with two assists and one rebound.

Tafari Simms had a big game as well, scoring 19 points and had two rebounds, an assist and a steal.

As a team, UWM shot 33-of-53 (62.3%) from the field, 13-of-25 (52.0%) from 3-point range and 10-for-13 (76.9%) at the free throw line. The Panthers did have 19 assists on the 33 made field goals, which is a decent number, but UWM did have 11 turnovers which needs to be under 10.
