The Wisconsin Badgers (26-3) enter the Women’s Volleyball NCAA Tournament as the No. 4 overall seed and looking to make the Final Four for the third consecutive season to settle some unfinished business. Wisconsin is hosting at least the first two rounds of the dance at the UW Field House.
Tonight, the Badgers swept the Colgate Raiders (18-10), 3-0, winning 25-12, 25-15 and 25-14 in the First Round.
Wisconsin never looked bothered tonight, as they shouldn’t have against an inferior team.
Senior Dana Rettke led UW with 14 kills tonight. Devyn Robinson and Anna Smrek each had eight kills respectively.
Lauren Barnes finished the night with 18 digs and Sydney Hilley finished with 7.
The Wisconsin Badgers will host the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles (27-5) at the UW Field House tomorrow night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The match will begin at 6:00 PM (Central Time) and will be televised on ESPN+.
