Week 13 NFL Rankings

After 12 weeks of the NFL season, we’ve pretty much seen what teams are at this point as we approach the stretch run for division titles and playoff seeding.

The thing I absolutely love is we have an additional week in the regular season. The thing I like about it, other than one more week of games, is that it gives teams that got off to a slow start a chance at making the playoffs as a Wild Card team, or to win their respective division or one final chance at getting the top seed in the respective conference.

In this blog, I’ll be giving out my rankings. Remember, my rankings are based on games played to this point of the season and NOT how I think teams will finish and/or do in future games.

There are several factors that go into my rankings. I don’t necessarily rank teams top to bottom based on best to worst record, I factor in how I think each team’s offense is, how their defense is, and their strength of schedule to this point.

Rankings:

1. Arizona Cardinals (9-2)

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-3)

3. Green Bay Packers (9-3)

4. Buffalo Bills (7-4)

5. New England Patriots (8-4)

6. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4)

7. Los Angeles Rams (7-4)

8. Dallas Cowboys (7-4)

9. Baltimore Ravens (8-3)

10. Tennessee Titans (8-4)

11. Cincinnati Bengals (7-4)

12. Santa Clara 49ers (6-5)

13. Indianapolis Colts (6-6)

14. New Orleans Saints (5-6)

15. Los Angeles Chargers (6-5)

16. Minnesota Vikings (5-6)

17. Cleveland Browns (6-6)

18. Las Vegas Raiders (6-5)

19. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5-1)

20. Denver Broncos (6-5)

21. Washington Redskins (5-6)

22. Philadelphia Eagles (5-7)

23. Seattle Seahawks (3-8)

24. Miami Dolphins (5-7)

25. Carolina Panthers (5-7)

26. New York Giants (4-7)

27. Atlanta Falcons (5-6)

28. Chicago Bears (4-7)

29. New York Jets (3-8)

30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9)

31. Houston Texans (2-9)

32. Detroit Lions (0-10-1)

I do think the Lions are better than their record, but it’s hard to rank them higher than No. 32 with zero wins.
