The UW-Milwaukee Panthers (1-2) were no match for the No. 24 Florida Gators (3-0) in a 81-45 loss in Gainesville.

UWM held their own in the first half, but the Panthers went more than 11 minutes without a field goal in the second half which allowed Florida to blow the doors open.
UWM finished the game 18-of-58 (31.0%) from the field, 2-of-12 (16.7%) from 3-point range and 7-of-13 (53.8%) from the free throw line and committed 13 turnovers.
Patrick Baldwin Jr. led the Panthers with 13 points tonight, but seemed out of sorts. He was 6-of-15 from the field, including 0-of-3 from beyond the arc and split his two free throw attempts and committed a team high three turnovers.
It was certainly a disappointing performance for UWM because it was a golden opportunity to prove that they could compete against the top teams in the country and they failed to do so.
