The Santa Clara Broncos (2-0) came out of the gates hot and absolutely dominated the Stanford Cardinal (1-1), 88-72, inside the Leavey Center in Santa Clara in the regional rivalry game.
It’s Santa Clara’s first win over Stanford since 2006!

Santa Clara shot 34-of-57 (59.6%) from the field, 12-of-25 (48.0%) from 3-point range, but a bad 8-of-15 (53.3%) at the free throw line. The Broncos did have 27 assists (good) but did have 12 turnovers (not as good).
PJ Pipes led SCU with 24 points on 9-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from 3-point range.
Jalen Williams scored 19, Josip Vrankic had 16 and Keshawn Justice added 14.
