Wisconsin Herd Name Chaisson Allen as Head Coach

The Wisconsin Herd, the G-League Affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, have named Chaisson Allen as the next head coach. Allen becomes the third head coach in Wisconsin Herd history.

Allen replaces Chase Buford, who led the Herd to a league best 33-10 record in 2019-20 before the season was suspended due to COVID-19. The Herd didn’t participate in the shortened 2020-21 G-League season and Buford left in June to become the Sydney Kings head coach.

Allen was an assistant under Buford in the 2019-20 season and filled in for two games during Buford’s suspension and led the Herd to a 2-0 record. In 2020-21, Allen was an assistant coach with the G-League’s Long Island Nets.

The Herd have also named Tony Bollier as General Manager and Arte Culver as Assistant General Manager.

The 2021-22 Wisconsin Herd season is set to tip off on Monday, November 8th at Oshkosh Arena.
