The Milwaukee Brewers Will Play The Atlanta Braves in NLDS

The NLDS opponent for the Milwaukee Brewers became official tonight. The Atlanta Braves beat Philadelphia to win the NL East. The team that left Milwaukee vs. the team that replaced it in Milwaukee in the Division Series.

For the first time since Game 7 of the 1958 World Series, the Braves will play a postseason game in Milwaukee again. This is the first postseason meeting between the two franchises.

Here’s the schedule (GAME TIMES TBD):

Game 1: Friday, October 8th at American Family Field.

Game 2: Saturday, October 9th at American Family Field.

Game 3: Monday, October 11th at Truist Park.

Game 4: Tuesday, October 12th at Truist Park (If Necessary).

Game 5: Thursday, October 14th at American Family Field (If Necessary).

I’m excited about this series. I followed the Braves relatively closely growing up because Chipper Jones was my most favorite player.

On a side note: Brewers lost today to St. Louis and Brett Anderson pitched for the Crew which may very well have been his final start in a Brewers uniform in 2021.

Anderson tweeted something that I thought was a classy move after the game:
