Wisconsin Badgers 2021-22 Men’s Basketball Non-Conference Schedule Released!

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball program released their 2021-22 non-conference schedule yesterday! If you’re a basketball fan, especially college basketball fan, like me then this is exciting news!

We still don’t know the dates just yet for the Big Ten portion of the schedule.

The Badgers open up with an exhibition game against the Division 3 UW-Whitewater Warhawks on October 29th as a tune up for the regular season.

The regular season opens up on November 9th when the Badgers host Saint Francis Brooklyn inside the Kohl Center. Three days later on November 12th, UW will host in-state rival UW-Green Bay.

Wisconsin will host Providence on November 15th in Madison as part of the Big Ten vs. Big East Gavitt Tipoff Games. It’s the first time the two programs will meet since 1996.

During Thanksgiving week, the Badgers will be in the Maui Invitational. UW opens the tournament against my most favorite college coach Buzz Williams and the Texas A&M Aggies on November 22. On November 23rd, UW will play either Butler or Houston. And to conclude the tournament on the 24th, Wisconsin will play either St. Mary’s, Chaminade, Notre Dame or Oregon.

Then comes the Big Ten/ACC Challenge where the Badgers will travel to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech on December 1st. UW also visited the Yellow Jackets in 2001 as part of the third-annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Then comes the big rivalry game. UW will host their little brother, the Marquette Golden Eagles, on December 4th inside the Kohl Center.

To conclude the non-conference portion of the schedule, UW will host Nicholls State on December 15, then will host Morgan State on December 23rd and then host Illinois State on December 29th.
