Bryn Forbes Declines Player Option

This is going to be an interesting offseason for the World Champion Milwaukee Bucks.

Bryn Forbes has declined his player option for the 2021-22 season and will become an Unrestricted Free Agent.

Given the Bucks’ financial situation, it’s unlikely he’ll return to Milwaukee.

Forbes was fourth in the NBA this season in 3-point shooting percentage (45.2%) and he was the third best among players with a minimum of 200-plus attempts.

Forbes was fantastic in the first round series sweep of the Miami Heat. In the Game 4 clinching game of that series, he made seven 3-pointers which was most for Milwaukee since Ray Allen hit nine 3-pointers in the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals Game 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Forbes averaged 19 minutes and 10 points per game in the regular season for Milwaukee.
