The Milwaukee Bucks took down the Phoenix Suns, 120-100, tonight in Game 3 of the NBA Finals inside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I was in attendance at Deer District tonight and it was an amazing atmosphere. As the kids say, it was lit.
Phoenix cut it to 74-70 with 5:22 left in the third quarter, but Milwaukee finished off the quarter on a 24-6 run finished off with a Pat Connaughton 3-pointer and the roughly 30,000 people at the Deer District went crazy and it was electric during that run.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 41 points on 14-of-23 from the field and 13-of-17 at the free throw line in 38 minutes.
Back-to-back 40-plus point games for the Greek Freak in the NBA Finals. Again, a week ago, we weren’t sure if he was going to play again this season (or even next season for that matter). Just absolutely insane performances by Giannis the past two games.
Jrue Holiday had a really good game and hit some timely shots when Milwaukee needed them. Holiday finished with 21 points on 8-of-14 from the field and 5-of-10 from 3-point range and also had 9 assists.
I will say, it’s amazing what happens when the Bucks actually do work in the paint.
In a must win game, the Bucks did what they needed to do since the season was essentially on the line.
Game 4 from the Fiserv Forum will be on Wednesday, July 14. Tipoff is set for 8:00 PM (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on ABC.
