The Milwaukee Bucks get a 113-102 win over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals at State Farm Arena.
The Milwaukee Bucks now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1 and reclaim home court advantage in the series.
The Bucks did not look good for the first three and a half quarters, but they did what they had to do.
Khris Middleton, who I thought played an all around OK first three quarters and not that great to start the fourth, took things into his own hands with about eight minutes left and scored 20 fourth quarter points which almost single handedly silenced the crowd.
Middleton finished with 38 points on the night. Now we just need Middleton to not be completely brutal, like the first two games in this series, the rest of the way.
No one changes their legacy over the course of literally every single playoff game like Khris Middleton. He’s brutally inconsistent. One game he looks insane and the next game he looks like he should be playing in the G-League. It is nice to see him shoot the ball when he shows up about every sixth game, though.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 33 points on 13-of-21 from the field and 11 rebounds.
I don’t think there’s any question that the Bucks are much better than the Hawks, but the Bucks are so dumb and do bizarre things with the ball.
I do think this series can be over in five games. It felt like this was Atlanta’s best shot to make it a series, but after the hot start they couldn’t deliver a knockout blow and Trae Young is limited. It’s not over yet though….
Speaking of Trae Young, he has reached Kevin Durant’s level when it comes to complaining to the refs after every play.
The Bucks and Hawks will play Game 4 at State Farm Arena on Tuesday, June 29. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM (Central Time) and will be televised on TNT.
I think I speak for everyone when I say this: TNT, for the love of god, stop letting Marv Albert call these games because he has NO CLUE what he is watching!
