The Milwaukee Brewers (45-33) shutout the Colorado Rockies (31-47) today at American Family Field, 5-0, to complete the series sweep.

It’s the fifth series sweep of the season for Milwaukee and the Brewers continue their domination over the NL West. The Brewers are 19-6 (.760) against the NL West, including 6-1 vs. Arizona, 5-2 vs. Colorado, 5-2 vs. San Diego, and 3-1 vs. Los Angeles.
Ryan Weber made his Brewers debut today. He’s the 50th player to appear in a game for Milwaukee this season. The franchise record is 53 players used by the 1969 Pilots and 2018 Brewers.
Keston Hiura hit a homer (second in three days) and drove in three runs today. It’s second time in three days that he’s looked good at the plate, hopefully this is a sign of things to come because the Brewers offense sure could use it! Hiura went 2-for-4 on the day.
Omar Narvaez also went 2-for-4 with a homer and 2 RBI.
Eric Lauer got the start today and went 6 solid innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out six batters.
It’s never too early to talk about being in First Place:
