The Tampa Bay Lightning take down the New York Islanders, 1-0, in Game 7 in the Final Four!
The defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning are headed back to the Stanley Cup Finals!!!

Andrei Vasilevskiy has a shutout in four straight series clinching games going back to the Stanley Cup Finals Game 6 win last year. That is an NHL record.
The only goal tonight was a Yanni Gourde shorthanded goal 1:49 into the second period.
The Gourde, Barclay Goodrow, Blake Coleman line played great tonight.
In retrospect, I’m happy how Game 6 went down. The Islanders got to have that final magical moment in the last game at Nassau Coliseum. Those fans deserved it. What a cool environment to watch a game.
BUT I’m a lot happier the Bolts are going back to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Up Next:
The Lightning will take on the Montreal Canadiens in the Finals. Game 1 will be on Monday at Amalie Arena.
