Te’Jon Lucas, the Milwaukee, Wisconsin native will play for his third school in his collegiate career.
Lucas, who played at Illinois from 2016-2018 before transferring to UW-Milwaukee to play for the Panthers from 2018-2021 (redshirt the 2018-19 season due to transfer rules), has transferred to play for the Brigham Young Cougars for his final year of eligibility.
Lucas entered the transfer portal on May 3rd, which did come as a surprise to me.
Lucas was a 3-star recruit out of high school (Milwaukee Washington High), averaged 14.7 points, 5.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while starting every game in his two seasons with his hometown team, UW-Milwaukee.
This is a big addition to the backcourt for Mark Pope and the BYU Cougars.
