Thoughts On The Movie ‘Wrath Of Man’

When I saw the previews of this movie (Wrath Of Man) approximately a month ago, I wanted to see it when it came out.

The fact that I do security for work (other than this spectacular website of course) made me more interested in going to see this movie.

I’ve seen a few Jason Statham movies and I think he’s a good actor. One of the managers at a restaurant I go to fairly regularly told me the other week that I look like Statham when I have a “pissed off” look on my face, which I thought was hilarious.

The movie came out in theaters today so I went to see it this evening.

I’m a big fan of this movie. It has a Clint Eastwood vibe to it, and anyone that knows me knows that I love Eastwood movies. In fact, Clint’s son Scott is in the movie!

I thought Statham did a really good job in this movie. The way he acts in this movie makes you wonder if he even has a soul to lose, the kind of acting where he laughed about four times in the 1990’s and decided it wasn’t for him.

This movie definitely has some evil in it, in the mythological or biblical sense.

I’m not going to give away too many details, but Statham plays a mysterious tough guy in the movie and was once a “dangerous criminal” in the movie and then starts working on the right side of the law as a security guard for a cash truck company. He’s basically undercover lying in the wait for the culprits to strike again. Why the job change? As you’ll find out in the movie, he wants revenge.

Overall, I’d give this an 8 out of 10. I recommend going to see this movie, sure there are certain parts that could be better (like most movies), but I thought it was a very entertaining movies. If you like crime movies, then check it out.
