Milwaukee Bucks Defeat Brooklyn Nets

The Milwaukee Bucks (40-24) took down the Brooklyn Nets (43-22), 117-114, this afternoon inside the Fiserv Forum.

There was a playoff atmosphere and intensity to the game today. Win or lose, that’s everything I want out of a playoff series. Compete, and if you’re gonna go down, to down swinging!

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant were on fire today.

Durant scored 42 points on 16-of-33 from the field and 7-of-13 from 3-point range.

Antetokounmpo played like an MVP today, as he scored 49 points on 21-of-36 from the field and 4-of-8 from 3-point range.

Khris Middleton scored 26 points, Jrue Holiday added 18 and Bryn Forbes chipped in 12.

The Bucks were 6-of-12 at the free throw line as a team in the game. That can’t happen against good teams.

Milwaukee is now 2 1/2 games back of the Nets for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Up Next:

The Bucks and Nets will square off once again inside the Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, May 4. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on TNT.

It’s a must win game for the Bucks if they have any realistic hope of getting to the one seed down the home stretch of the regular season.
