If I’m the Packers General Manager Dealing With Rodgers

As most of the world knows by now, the news came out yesterday that Aaron Rodgers’ feelings got hurt and he “no longer wants to play for the Green Bay Packers.”

If I’m the Green Bay Packers GM, here’s how I handle Rodgers:

  1. Keep the lines of communication open
  2. Rest easy knowing that he’s under contract for three more years and that he’d have to pay a ton of money back if he sits
  3. Keep trying to make the Packers better at positions of need

Disclaimer: I haven’t been an Aaron Rodgers fan since day one, but I’m grateful he’s been the Packers quarterback, but that doesn’t mean he’s right in this situation. I might have handled things a little differently than GM1, but Rodgers is coming off to me as a big time diva right now.

Rodgers will be the Green Bay QB through at least 2022.

A little throwback to 12 and I in 2007.
