The Milwaukee Bucks (35-20) end the three-game road trip with a 3-0 record after beating the Atlanta Hawks (30-26) tonight, 120-109.
Milwaukee won all three games on the road trip by double-digits. And let’s be real, they should have, all three games were against inferior opponents.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finally played after sitting out for six games to heal up.
Jrue Holiday led Milwaukee with 23 points. Brook Lopez had a heck of a game, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 15 points in 24 minutes in his return.
Jeff Teague had a solid game off the bench, scoring 11 points and dishing out five assists.
The Bucks led for most of this game, but Atlanta gave Milwaukee a couple of scares. Particularly frustrating in the final minutes when Budenholzer thought this game was over and Atlanta cut it to an eight point game before Milwaukee had three offensive rebounds on one possession to get the lead back to double-digits with 1:39 left.
Milwaukee did a good job taking care of the ball tonight, only committing eight turnovers.
The Bucks will finally be back home at the Fiserv Forum when they host the Memphis Grizzlies (27-26) on Saturday, April 17. Tipoff is set for 8:00 PM (Central Time).
