So I’ve been trying to read more books, and I am talking about to the finish and not just a few pages or chapters and then calling it quits on the book.
So I decided to take the advice of a division 1 basketball coach, Buzz Williams, who I’ve had the privilege of meeting and am a big fan of him on a personal level and as a coach.
Side Note: I’m about to start another book that he was talking about.
But I just finished the book “The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck” by Mark Manson.
I’m 31 reading this book and it is a great book.
I’m so convicted by the book and would like to spend an hour with the author. Because I would like to learn more about what he wrote in the book, that he didn’t write in the book.
Have you ever thought about that? You read a book, do you know how much time and effort went into the book. And all the words that never made it to the book, I want to learn that.
Cause if I read something and I’m like “Man, we are always choosing…”
What if you learned that you are always choosing at 19. I learned it at 31.
I highly recommend reading this book, regardless of how old you are. But if you’re offended by “locker room talk,” then maybe it’s not the best book for you to read.
