Eddie George Reportedly To Be New Head Football Coach at Tennessee State

According to multiple reports, current Tennessee State Tigers football coach, Rod Reed, has coached his final game for the Tigers earlier today. Reed, a Tennessee State alum, has been the head coach since 2010. Reed will end his tenure at TSU with a 58-61 record.

According to the reports, former Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George will become the next head football coach at Tennessee State University.

Eddie George has no head coaching experience, but this move would add a jolt to a program that has had four consecutive losing seasons.

Eddie George, now 47, was a four-time pro bowl running back for the Titans from 1996-2003, before ending his career with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004.
