The San Jose State Spartans are finalizing a deal for Tim Miles to become the next head coach of the SJSU men’s basketball program.
This would be a HUGE get for San Jose State once it’s finalized.
Miles was most recently the head man at Nebraska from 2012 to 2019 where he compiled a 116-114 overall record with one NCAA Tournament appearance and two NIT appearances.
Tim Miles has been a head coach for 24 seasons with stops at Mayville State, Southwest Minnesota State, North Dakota State, Colorado State and then most recently Nebraska. He has a career record of 399-334 (.544).
When Miles was at Colorado State, he was in charge of a rebuild with that program. He did just that, going from 7-25 overall and 0-16 in conference play his first year with the Rams to a 20-12 record and an NCAA Tournament berth in year five with the program.
Marie Tuite has FINALLY made a hire that I can support.
SPARTAN UP!!
