The Wisconsin Badgers Men’s Hockey Team Are Big Ten Champions!!!

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team (19-8-1, 17-6-1) are the 2020-2021 Big Ten regular season Champions!!!

It’s the first Big Ten title for the program in 21 years! And this is coming off a season where the program finished in last place in the Big Ten just last season! From worst to first!

What a time to be alive!

Sophomore Cole Caufield wasn’t going to let this opportunity go by for the Badgers.

The Michigan State Spartans took a 1-0 lead with 6:51 left the second period. But Caufield tied the game with 16 seconds left in the second period.

Caufield striked once again, putting the Badgers in front, 2-1, with 13:11 left in the game!

The defense and great goaltending by Cameron Rowe finished the deal to hang on and win the game 2-1 to secure the Big Ten Title!

Tony Granato deserves to be Coach of The Year during this crazy season and for keeping the troops together after the slow start to the season.
