The Milwaukee Bucks (16-12) have now lost four games in a row after losing tonight to the Toronto Raptors (13-15), 124-113, inside the Fiserv Forum.
It’s the second four-game losing streak of the Mike Budenholzer era, the only other time was in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals when the Bucks lost four in a row to the Raptors.
The game was tied after the first quarter, tied at halftime before Toronto took a three point lead after three quarters of play. The Bucks are now 0-9 this season when trailing after three quarters.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
Pat Connaughton had 20 points and five rebounds.
Bobby Portis with 16 points and six rebounds.
Donte DiVincenzo with 12 points, eight assists and three rebounds.
Khris Middleton was a no-show once again tonight, despite scoring 11 points and seven rebounds.
Fred Van Vleet lit up the Bucks tonight (like he did in 2019 ECF), finishing with 33 points on 12-of-22 from the field and 5-of-12 from 3-point range.
There was absolutely no excuse to continue to lose Van Vleet in transition over and over again.
The Bucks need Jrue Holiday back as soon as possible because it’s painful watching this team.
I wonder if Giannis is cursing himself for signing the super max right now….
The Bucks and Raptors will face off once again inside the Fiserv Forum on Thursday, February 18. Tip-off is set for 6:30 PM (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on TNT.
