The California Community College Athletic Association announced that 30 teams have opted in for the 2020-21 men’s basketball season.
However, due to the limited number of colleges that opted in for the season, they recommend eliminating Regional Championships. Therefore, the season will begin March 1st and conclude on April 17th.
Because of coronavirus, colleges may remove themselves at any time or more colleges could choose to opt in last minute.

Cypress

Gavilan
Golden West
Hartnell
Las Positas
Merritt
Monterey Peninsula
Ohlone
Orange Coast
Palo Verde
Redwoods
City College of San Francisco
San Jose City
San Mateo
Santa Ana
Santiago Canyon
Sequoias
Shasta
Siskiyous
Skyline
West Valley
Colleges that opted out may still have contact with their student athletes through July 1st without being in violation of First Contact rules. Colleges that have opted in are not permitted to contact a student athlete at another California Community College and are required to notify the students College and commissioner of any contact by a student athlete.
