The UW-Milwaukee Panthers defeated the IUPUI Jaguars this afternoon, 71-63, inside the Klotsche Center.
The win puts the Milwaukee Panthers at 5-2 overall and 4-1 in Horizon League play.
UWM shot 29-of-52 (55.8%) from the field, 4-of-14 (28.6%) from 3-point range and 9-of-14 (64.3%) from the free throw line. The Panthers had 16 turnovers and 13 assists….to be clear, that’s not good.
UWM won the rebounding battle 33-28 and also had 9 steals.
Te’Jon Lucas led UWM with 15 points and Josh Thomas scored 14 points.
The Panthers are next in action next Friday, January 15th, when they host Purdue Fort Wayne (3-5, 2-5). Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM (Central Time) and will be televised on ESPN+.
