The Milwaukee Bucks (2-3) fell to the Miami Heat (2-2) in the second of back-to-back games at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida by a final of 119-108.
Milwaukee led 84-73 with 3:44 remaining in the third quarter, only to get outscored 46-24 in the final 15:44 of the game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field, 2-for-6 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. The Greek Freak also had 13 rebounds and 10 assists for a triple-double.
Khris Middleton had a very bad game offensively, scoring 8 points but was 3-for-15 from the field and 0-4 from 3-point range. But Middleton did have seven rebounds and nine assists.
Mike Budenholzer apparently hasn’t learned anything and continues to have questionable rotations. In his defense, the execution in the fourth quarter tonight was horrendous on both ends of the court.
The Bucks are next in action on Friday, January 1, when they host the Chicago Bulls (1-3) at Fiserv Forum in the I-94 Rivalry. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM (Central Time).
