The 12th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers game against No. 23 Louisville Big Ten/ACC Challenge game has officially been rescheduled.
The game was originally supposed to be played last Wednesday, but Louisville had to postpone the game, so the Badgers hosted Rhode Island last week so UW could play a game.
Then with Northern Iowa canceling the game with UW that was originally scheduled for this Wednesday, the Badgers are hosting Loyola (Chicago) (the fighting Sister Jean’s) tomorrow night.
Louisville is back to practicing and playing. So the UW/Louisville game will now be played this Saturday, December 19, at the Kohl Center. Tip-off is set for 11:00 AM (CT) and will be televised on ESPN2.
Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard said UW almost scheduled a game at Madison Square Garden to play Villanova on December 19 in place of Virginia. Went to bed Saturday night thinking that would be the case and woke up Sunday and it was different.
Saturday will be a wild day for Wisconsin sports fans around the state and country:
Badgers hoops hosts Louisville at 11:00 AM (CT) at the Kohl Center. Badgers football hosts the Minnesota Golden Gophers for Paul Bunyan’s Axe at Camp Randall Stadium at 3:00 PM (CT). And the Green Bay Packers host the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field at 7:15 PM (CT). What a time to be alive.
