The Wisconsin Badgers football team trails the Iowa Hawkeyes, 6-0, at halftime in Iowa City.
The 6-0 deficit feels like a 60-0 deficit. The Wisconsin offense has now gone 31 consecutive drives without scoring a touchdown, and that’s me being nice by not counting this one-play series to end the first half today.
The Badgers defense, just like the previous two games, have played absolutely phenomenal and with some serious pride. Inspiring stuff from Jim Leonhard’s defense, everybody in the country should want to play for that man. It’s just unfortunate the offense hasn’t stepped up to help the defense out the last three games.
Week after week, this defense proves it’s the best in college football. I truly believe that.
UW has had the ball for 13:46 (16:14 for Iowa). UW has 66 total yards (112 for Iowa). The Badgers are 2-for-9 (22.2%) on third down and 0-for-1 on fourth down.
I would love to see Jack Coan in at quarterback for the second half.
Nice offense!!!
