The Green Bay Packers avoided an “upset” of the Philadelphia Eagles and won 30-16 to improve to 9-3 on the season.
Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns, two to Devante Adams, in the victory including his 400th career touchdown pass.
Rashan Gary had probably his best game as a pro. Gary had four tackles, one for loss, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hits and one pass defended.
Tight end Jace Sternberger left the game in the second quarter with a concussion and Tyler Ervin left in the second half with an ankle injury and didn’t return. Raven Greene also suffered a shoulder injury on special teams.
Aaron Jones rushed for 130 yards, his first 100-yard rushing game since week 2. His 77-yard rushing touchdown late in the game sealed the game and put a dagger in the Eagles comeback bid.
Devante Adams has now caught at least one touchdown pass in seven consecutive games, which ties the franchise record for consecutive games with at least one touchdown reception. Don Hutson caught at least one touchdown reception in seven consecutive games twice in his Green Bay career.
The Green Bay Packers (9-3) will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions (5-7) at Ford Field next Sunday, December 13. Kickoff is set for 3:25 PM (CT).
Also, congratulations to former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback, Darrell Bevell, on getting his first career win as a NFL head coach as the Lions came back to defeat the Chicago Bears today.
