The San Jose State men’s basketball game today that was scheduled for 4:00 PM (CT) / 2:00 PM (PT) against Simpson University has been canceled.
There are no plans to reschedule at the moment. The cancelation happened about 30 minutes ago and it comes because there’s an issue that prevented Simpson from adhering to the MWC COVID-19 testing protocols.
Pretty weak in my opinion to cancel a game due to “testing protocols” within an hour of game time, especially considering the virus has a 99.5 percent survival rate.
The Spartans will now open up the season on December 2 on the road against Pepperdine.
