Anthony Houston Named Head Coach at Cardinal Stritch University, CCAC To Start Early January

The Cardinal Stritch University Wolves, a NAIA in Milwaukee, named Anthony Houston as the next head men’s basketball coach.

Houston spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach with the program. Prior to joining the Stritch staff, he was the head coach for the Bradley Tech High School boys team from 2013-2016.

Max Johansen was named an Assistant Coach on the staff this week.

The CCAC (Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference) announced that the conference schedule would be shortened to 14 games rather than the normal 22 conference games. CCAC play will start on January 2.

Cardinal Stritch opens the season November 11 at home inside the Cardinal Stritch University Field House against Viterbo University.

On November 20 and 21, the Wolves will be on the road at the Viterbo University Tournament, times and teams are TBA.

The Wolves will conclude their six game non-conference schedule at home where they’ll host Marian University on December 16, Edgewood University on December 18 and Bethel College on December 29.
