The San Jose State Spartans will be playing football this Fall after the Mountain West Conference announced they’d play football and announced the schedule this week.
San Jose State will play eight games, four being at home inside CEFCU Stadium and four being on the road, all against Mountain West teams.
The top two teams with the best winning percentage in the 12-team conference will meet in the Mountain West Championship game on December 19th. There will be now Mountain or West divisions in the 2020 standings.
As of now, all games are scheduled on Saturday’s, but the Mountain West’s television partners (CBS Sports and Fox Sports) will select games they want to televise and move them from Saturday to either Thursday or Friday.

October 24- vs Air Force
October 31- at New Mexico
November 7- at San Diego State
November 14- vs UNLV
November 21- at Fresno State
November 28- at Boise State
December 5- vs Hawai’i
December 12- vs Nevada
December 19- MWC Championship Game
