The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Miami Heat 116-114 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Jimmy Butler hit two free throws with no time on the clock after a ridiculous foul call by Marc Davis on Giannis Antetokounmpo to end the game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists. Khris Middleton finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Eric Bledsoe dominated the 3rd quarter and finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds while Brook Lopez finished with 16 points.
The Bucks have had plenty of trouble taking care of the ball since arriving at the bubble, and tonight was no different. The Bucks finished with 14 turnovers that led to 22 Miami points.
As bad as the Bucks looked in the first half and for a couple minutes in the fourth quarter, the refs won this game in regulation for the Miami Heat.
The way this game finished was an absolute joke! You cannot make that call on Giannis to decide a game, in the playoffs no less. Butler did everything possible to avoid contact and was able to get a clean shot off while fading away and still no contact until the minimal contact by Giannis after Butler released the ball.
The refs ruined this game. The Heat were the better team most of the night, but this game absolutely deserved to go to overtime.
I’m also once again bothered by Budenholzer’s rotations and lack of adjustments in a very important game! Bud was the reason why Bucks lost four straight to the Raptors last year and he’s back at it again.
Wesley Matthews played phenomenal defense on Jimmy Butler tonight….I guess Bud learned his lesson in that regard, which is why I’m even more furious with him because even after tonight’s ridiculous finish, the series should be 1-1.
Here’s Mike Budenholzer’s comment on the last foul call on Giannis.
Bud after the game took the conservative route, not sticking up for his team. That’s enough for me after what just happened. FIRE BUDENHOLZER!
I just would like to know what is with Wisconsin teams getting robbed? Wisconsin sports are cursed and you cannot convince me otherwise.
If you’re a Wisconsin sports fan you are clinically depressed. Daily. For your whole life. Every day. Can’t escape it.
