Some Football News

Mike Gundy, Head Football Coach at Oklahoma State, had his contract shortened from 5-year rollover to 4-years with a pay cut after internal review. In 2019, Gundy made $5.125 Million.

The review was launched after running back Chuba Hubbard tweeted “I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE,” after Gundy wore an OAN T-Shirt.

Moral of the story is be careful what cable news T-shirt you wear to go fishing, because if it’s a non-liberal shirt, you’ll get reprimanded.

In NFL news, FedEx has asked the Washington Redskins to change their name. Apparently FedEx was ok with the name when they inked the deal 20 years ago. They also stood behind the Redskins in 2017 when the case went to the Supreme Court.

Joining the “crusade” now is only showing FedEx’s true colors. UPS is better anyway.

The campaign to rename the Redskins is almost exclusively white people. Poll after poll shows that actual Native Americans largely don’t give a damn. I also, by the way, don’t give a damn.

Here is the official release from the Washington Redskins:

If the Redskins get renamed, my choice is Washington Senior Officials On Condition Of Anonymities.
