In California, the entire Central Valley Conference will suspend athletic competition for the fall 2020 semester.
The CVC schools are: Reedley College, Fresno City College, Clovis Community College, Columbia, Merced, Porterville, College of Sequoias, Taft, West Hills Coalinga and West Hills Lemoore.
There is a slight chance fall sports will move to the spring 2021 semester, but it is very highly unlikely.
All fall students will retain their year of eligibility. This does not effect the spring 2021 athletic season.
Men’s and women’s basketball, the only winter sports at Reedley College, will move to the spring with a reduced schedule.
The official statement from the Conference can be seen here.
In Arizona, it appears that the 10 colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District will be without sports in the 2020-21 school year.
Those 10 schools are: Chandler-Gilbert, Estrella Mountain, GateWay, Glendale, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Rio Salado, Scottsdale and South Mountain.
