Players have the right to do as they choose. However, the economics on not playing would be devastating:
- $1.2 Billion in lost player salary (35% of total pay)
- NBA now having leverage to tear up the CBA and negotiate a new one
- $2 Billion in lost revenue
There was a conference call tonight with 80 or so players and Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony were vocal.
Kyrie said: “I don’t support going to Orlando. I’m not with the systematic racism and the bulls***. Something smells fishy.”
Terrance Ross tweeted out a simple request:

I’m less optimistic than I have been in weeks. That said, I think we still see the season finish. Does everyone play? That part I’m not sure of.
To be completely honest though, I could be completely way off on all of it. I don’t know what to think anymore.
I hate 2020.
