Alternate Universe, One Way Ticket Out

As everyone knows, all sports have been canceled, from pro-leagues to NCAA to NAIA to JUCO to even most high schools and youth teams. Although, I know high school softball in Northern California has been suspended until at least April 10.

We’re two days into having no sports and I don’t like it. In fact, I absolutely hate it.

MLB postponed their start of the season two weeks later, but there’s no chance they’ll start in mid-April, realistically it’ll be May or June.

There’s even talk about whether the NFL Draft will go on original date or if that’ll be postponed to a later date.

I’ve been playing a lot of sports video games over the last roughly 36 hours to get my sports fix in. I also did go see the movie The Way Back tonight, it’s a good movie and I recommend going to see it, but one scene towards the end involving the assistant coach bugged me a little bit. No, I’m not going to elaborate and give any more hints or clues because I don’t want to spoil it.

I feel like I’m in an alternate universe without sports and I want a one-way ticket out of it!
