In a battle between the two best teams in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers took down the Milwaukee Bucks 113-103 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The Bucks struggled all night to generate much on the offensive end and committed 20 turnovers. The Bucks were also whistled for 32 fouls which tied a season-high in the second game of the season in an overtime loss to Miami.
The defense, especially in the second half, struggled mightily. Part of the problem was with how the game was officiated.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, but did try to force too much.
Khris Middleton was a complete no-show. He scored 12 points, but it was on 5-of-19 shooting and was 2-of-10 from 3-point range.
Wesley Matthews I thought played good defense on Lebron James, but Wes struggled from the field shooting going 1-for-6.
The atmosphere in the stadium had the feel of a playoff game.
Bucks need to regroup for Phoenix on Sunday in Arizona.
The loss drops Milwaukee to 53-10 on the season.
