The Wisconsin Badgers are the Big Ten Champions!
Today’s stirring comeback against Indiana on the road gave the Badgers at least a share of the Big Ten Championship. It capped off a remarkable run over the last six weeks that included an 8-game winning streak to win the Title.
This means a little more to the program considering what the team has fought through going back to May with a tragic car accident involving Howard Moore and his family. That was followed by the NCAA not granting Micah Potter eligibility until mid-December, Kobe King quitting the team mid-season and then strength coach Erik Helland resigning.
In the end, Greg Gard and company, stayed focused and came out on top.
Wisconsin was supposedly a program that was in “disarray” six weeks ago according to the media.
