The Wisconsin Badgers got a much needed victory and took down the Purdue Boilermakers tonight by a final of 69-65 at the Kohl Center.
Junior Aleem Ford had a career-high 19 points on 7-of-11 from the field (5-of-8 from 3) in 34 minutes of action. Brad Davison and Brevin Pritzl each added 13 points while Nate Reuvers chipped in 12 points after going scoreless in the first half.
The Badgers shot 19-of-50 (38.0%) from the field, 12-of-31 (38.7%) from beyond the arc, and put on a free throw shooting clinic going 19-of-20 (95.0%) to seal the game.
The win puts the Badgers at 16-10 overall and 9-6 in Big Ten play. UW now is in a 5-way tie for third place in the Big Ten.
UW is next in action on Sunday when Rutgers comes to town in a big game at the Kohl Center. Tip-off is set for 12:00 PM (CT) and will be aired on Big Ten Network (BTN).
