On this Christmas afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks lost 121-109 to the 76ers in Philadelphia. And it wasn’t all that close, either.
Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled all game, and so did the Milwaukee defense.
Per ESPN Stats and Info, Giannis Antetokounmpo had never missed more than 18 shots in a game before today (he went 8-for-27). The 76ers also tied their franchise-record 21 3-pointers made.
Those both aren’t exactly sustainable numbers for either side.
Mike Budenholzer in his post-game presser said: “I don’t think we were as bad as being down 27. I think they (76ers) were very good. I think if there’s one thing you learn, I think when Philly plays at a high level, makes shots, Korkmaz contributes like that they’re pretty good. You have to raise your level to them.”
The Bucks (27-5) are in Atlanta (6-25) on Friday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 pm (CT).
