Wisconsin Basketball Beats UW-La Crosse in Exhibition game

The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team defeated UW-La Crosse 82-53 in an exhibition game at the Kohl Center.

Nate Reuvers led a well-balanced offensive attack for UW with 15-points, one of five players to finish with double digits for the Badgers. Kobe King added 14, Brad Davison scored 13, Aleem Ford chipped in 12 and D’Mitrik Trice added 10.

In addition to his scoring, Kobe King added game-highs in both rebounds (eight) and assists (five).

True freshman Tyler Wahl impressed in his collegiate debut. He scored seven points, had five blocks and seven rebounds in 16 minutes. I’m a big fan of Tyler Wahl’s game and he’ll be able to play and help out immediately.

Wisconsin opens the season on Tuesday night against 20th ranked Saint Mary’s. The game will be played at the Samford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, tip-off is set for 8:00 pm (CT) and will be aired on ESPNU.
