Wisconsin and Hawaii mutually cancel two future matchups

The Wisconsin Badgers and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors have cancelled the two remaining games on their three-game series.

The first meeting in the series was in 2015, with Wisconsin winning 28-0. The next two were slated in 2022 and 2024.

The Badgers have already added opponents for those two cancelled games. In 2022, UW will host New Mexico State and in 2024 the Badgers will host Western Michigan.

Wisconsin and New Mexico State have only played one time, a 69-13 UW victory in 1962.

The Badgers and Western Michigan have met five times, where Wisconsin has won four of the games. The most recent game, UW beat PJ Fleck’s Broncos in the 2017 Cotton Bowl, 24-16.
