Wisconsin landed a pair of commitments tonight in the 2020 recruiting class.
Brothers Johnny and Jordan Davis (La Crosse, WI) gave their verbal commitments to the Badgers during a camp help in Madison this weekend. The two are out of La Crosse High School where current Badger Kobe King attended.
Mark Miller of WisSports.net was the first to report the news.
Johnny Davis is the higher rated player of the two and was a priority for UW head coach Greg Gard. The 6’5″ wing is ranked the No. 3 prospect in the state and No. 141 in the country according to 247Sports Composite. He had 10 scholarship offers including from Iowa, Marquette, and Minnesota.
The Badgers just offered Jordan Davis earlier this month. Listed at 6’4″, Jordan chose Wisconsin over offers from UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee.
The brothers join point guard Lorne Boweman (Detroit, Michigan) as part of Wisconsin’s 2020 class.
The Badgers are still chasing 5-star prospect Jalen Johnson (Milwaukee, WI). Originally from Sun Prarie, Johnson narrowed his final four schools to Duke, Wisconsin, Arizona and Kentucky. The Blue Devils are heavy favorites to land the talented forward.
