NCAA.com college basketball insider Andy Katz named his five breakout Juniors for the 2019-20 season. Katz named Wisconsin forward Nate Reuvers as one of his potential breakout players for this season.
“He picks up a lot of slack gone from Ethan Happ,” Katz said. “He’s a stretch forward. Can he be a low post scoring threat? We’ll see, but he has to be for the Badgers.”
As a sophomore in 2018-19, Reuvers posted 7.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting 44.9 percent from the field. He started all 34 games for UW, averaging 22.9 minutes per contest.
Reuvers scored in double digits 12 times last season, scoring a career-high 22 points against Illinois.
