Injury Report:

A total of five Badgers will miss the season opener against Western Kentucky on Friday due to injury.

Wisconsin announced on Sunday that junior defensive end Kraig Howe (leg), sophomore safety Patrick Johnson (head), sophomore defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk (leg), senior tight end Zander Neuville (leg), and junior running back Bradrick Shaw (leg) were all ruled out.

Howe and Johnson were both new additions to the injury report.

The Badgers already have three players ruled out for the entire season in junior defensive end Garrett Rand (leg), freshman outside linebacker Mason Platter (leg), and freshman offensive lineman Blake Smithback (leg).

Wisconsin announced the two game suspension for Danny Davis last week.

Junior wide receiver Quintez Cephus, who appeared in court on Thursday to face two separate charges for sexual assault, remains suspended indefinitely. Cephus’ preliminary trial was set for September 6th.

Kickoff between Wisconsin and Western Kentucky is set for 8 pm (CT) from Camp Randall Stadium on Friday.
