Bucks make qualifying offer to Parker

The Milwaukee Bucks took the expected and necessary first step toward their big decision regarding Jabari Parker on Friday, extending a one-year, $4.3 million qualifying offer to make the 23-year-old forward a restricted free agent.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also reported the Bucks made additional qualifying offers to two-way players Xavier Munford and Marshall Plumlee, making them restricted free agents as well, though as two-way players they’re on their own, separate tier.

Milwaukee can sign Parker outright, match another team’s offer, decline to match another team’s offer and let Parker walk, can sign-and-trade him or Parker can take the qualifying offer and become an unrestricted free agent next year.
